Bristol Harbour Festival is one of the UK’s biggest free festivals, bringing the city’s harbourside to life with three days of live music, entertainment, performances and waterfront celebrations. Taking place from Friday 17 – Sunday 19 July 2026, Harbour Fest Bristol will welcome visitors from across the UK to enjoy a packed programme of events across Bristol Harbourside.

From live performances and street entertainers to watersports displays, cultural activities and family-friendly entertainment, the festival is a highlight of the Bristol summer calendar. With hundreds of thousands of visitors expected, it’s the perfect opportunity to explore the waterfront, enjoy the atmosphere and discover some of the best places to eat and drink nearby.

What is Bristol Harbour Festival?

Bristol Harbour Festival is an annual celebration of the city’s maritime heritage, culture and creativity. The festival transforms Bristol Harbourside into a lively waterfront destination, with entertainment taking place across multiple locations.

Visitors can expect a mix of:

  • Street theatre and entertainers
  • Watersports and harbour displays

The 2026 festival theme focuses on a “return to the water”, celebrating Bristol’s connection with the harbour through new performances, waterfront experiences and activities designed for all ages.
