Race to Rio
We think our restaurant teams are the bees knees and each year we recognise their great service and hospitality through our Race to Rio incentive.
The Race to Rio league table is based on mystery diner visits by our trusty Amigos, and the top performing restaurants nominate a member of staff from each department to take the trip of a lifetime to Brazil.
It’s an amazing opportunity to learn more about the food and the culture, see where our cachaça is made and meet our Brazilian friends like Joao Luiz and Roberto. And maybe there’s a little bit of sand, sea and a few caipirinhas thrown in for good measure.
We hope our lucky winners will bring a little bit of South America back with them to make your visit to Las Iguanas even more enjoyable.
Annual Bar Challenge
Our bar tenders may be some of the best in the business at muddling your caipirinhas or mixing a mean mojito but do they have creative flair? We put our bartenders through their paces in the heats and one lucky team will triumph at the National final, returning to their restaurant with a shiny trophy, a cash prize and a space on the menu.
Annual Chefs Challenge
The gauntlet is thrown down to Kitchen teams from across the country to conceive and develop a new dish worthy of the Las Iguanas menu. The winners will see their dish in print and snap up a cash prize and a gleaming trophy for their team.
