Latin America is a wild and wonderful place. Stretching over eight million square miles from the Pacific coast to the Atlantic, the energy and vibrancy of Rio at Carnival time sits side by side with the serenity of the Rainforest, the soaring, snow topped mountains of the Andes and the vast stillness of the Argentinean Pampas.

To capture the best of Latin life we are launching our photography competition and welcome entries from those of you who have been lucky enough to travel through the Central and South Americas. Send us your photographs of Latinos at work or at play, of the hustle and bustle of sport, happy family life, or relaxing in the sun. We want to see Latin Life at its most enjoyable.

Winning photos will be displayed here on the website and may even make their way into a Las Iguanas near you. Judged on merit over the next few months, First Prize winners will snap up £200 cash prizes and £100 Las Iguanas vouchers. Commended entries will win £50 Las Iguanas vouchers - perfect for dinner for two!

Judging will takes place at six monthly intervals at the beginning of February and the beginning of August. See our past winners by clicking the link at the top of the page.

Photographs should be submitted either as:

Digital images (300dpi minimum resolution in JPG, EPS or TIF format) using the form below (maximum size 2MB each) or CD by post (no maximum file size). Or:

Prints (minimum size 4"x6") by post.

All postal entries should be sent to Living Latin Life Competition, Las Iguanas, 113 Whiteladies Road, Clifton, Bristol BS8 2PB. We are afraid that we will not be able to return postal entries unless you include a stamped addressed envelope.
